About Us
Forum Multimedia Publishing, LLC is an independent open-access publisher founded in 1998. This site pairs a curated journal catalogue and practical author guidance with the publishing policies of our own journals.
Who we are
Forum Multimedia Publishing, LLC has published open-access research since its founding in 1998. We are scholar-centered: we work to enhance the impact and visibility of the research we publish, and to advance the dissemination and exchange of cutting-edge academic achievements.
Today we publish two open-access journals, European Cells & Materials (eCM) and the International Journal of Whole Schooling (IJWS). Both titles are preserved for the long term through CLOCKSS digital archiving.
Our story
In August 2023 the company became part of IMR Press and began publishing European Cells & Materials; a Co-Editor-in-Chief was appointed for eCM in May 2025. In October 2025 we formally separated from IMR Press and established ourselves as an independent publisher.
From Volume 22, Issue 1 (2026), the International Journal of Whole Schooling is published by Forum Multimedia Publishing. In August 2026 we opened our China Representative Office, responsible for the academic promotion, brand development and communication of eCM and IJWS in China, and took part in CAOS 2026 - the 17th Annual Meeting of the Chinese Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
Our journals
eCM (ISSN 1473-2262) covers musculoskeletal health, cell and tissue engineering, biomaterials and bionanomedicine; it is indexed in SCIE with a 2025 Journal Impact Factor of 3.6. IJWS (ISSN 1710-2146) publishes research on inclusive schooling and the 9 Principles of Whole Schooling; it is indexed in ESCI with a 2025 Journal Impact Factor of 0.5.
Full profiles for both journals - indexing, APC, scope and submission links - are in the catalogue, which also lists verified journals from other publishers.
How we verify data
Journal profiles are checked against official publisher pages and leading indexing databases. Every record shows when it was last updated, and corrections are welcome.
